It is not always an individual but rather a team of individuals that are leading the way for change.  Please nominate and discuss which organizations that you think are moving beyond transparency and why.  Is it your organization?  Dare to be affirmed or challenged with what your organization is doing and where they are headed.

Recently at AMIFS, Scott Wise stated that a lack of integration in Finance is one of the biggest organizational challenges to transformation.  The problem is that expense management functions have a common goal of cost reduction or prevention, but too often these functions are competitive and disparate across the organization.  Does this lack of integration cause a problem for your organization.  Is there any benefit to keeping the functions competitive?

Many of you have just heard Scott Wise speak at AMIFS.  Scott related that in his experience most individuals in finance feel that it is the CFO’s responsibility to control IT Costs but are inadequately equipped to do so.  Do you agree that it is the CFO who is responsible?  Why the CFO & not the CIO?
